Organic Tuscan Blue Rosemary

Cooks favor this fast-growing upright form of perennial rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis "Tuscan Blue") over the trailing variety because of its more flavorful needle-like leaves, which cover the plant all year long. Fresh or dried, the leaves enhance breads and herb butters and complement the flavors of roasted and grilled chicken, lamb and fish. Rosemary tea offers restorative properties that energize the body. The herb's vivid blue flowers attract honeybees to the garden in spring and summer. Organic. Appropriate for all growing zones. Suitable for container or ground planting. Drought tolerant. Requires full sun. Grows to 36" high, 12" wide. 14"-high plant ships in a 4" diam. nursery pot, wrapped in burlap and tied with a ribbon. Agricultural regulations prohibit shipment to HI. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

Looks very bad.

I ordered the basil and rosemary. I now have been sent four plants of basil and they all died within a week. So very disappointed. Maybe the smell from the burlap caused something to kill them. I have no idea. Will never order plants here again. I must say that W/S did refund for the basil.
Pros: none

Very disappointed
April 22, 2012
The rosemary is no where near the size listed. Pot and plant is no taller than 6.5". The burlap sack is overwhelming with a smell of gasoline. Not sure why, but it reeks.
Placed the order two weeks ago and have only received the first plant. Still waiting for the rest of the order to ship but I'm no longer looking forward to it.
Cons: small, not as described

Actual Height Not Worth Price
April 14, 2012
Description says 14" plant. Actual plant size is 2 1/2". Rosemary takes a long time to grow. Useless for cooking purposes the first year. All herbs ordered were same size. Definitely not as described.
Pros: plants were alive
Cons: size not as advertized

I agree!
This plant was not as advertised. I paid the price for it as I thought it would be the height advertised. I will have to wait several years.
