Do not use cooking spray

If you want your cake to have any chance of coming out, liberally coat with butter or oil & flour. Don't use Pam or Baker's Secret sprays. Also very difficult to clean.

"Beautiful Rose"

I have made several cakes with this pan and EVERY time it comes out so beautiful.
We started with a Red Velvet, (my son in laws favorite) then a yellow one and a Strawberry (such a pretty pink) and for Halloween an Orange Rose! All with just a simple glaze drizzled on the top and run down the sides! Love love love this pan!
I wish I had taken pictures!

Beautiful Presentation

Loved the pan... have had it for several years now and still like brand new. The only down side is you have to really coat it with butter and flour so the cake does not end up sticking to the pan. This pan is also difficult to clean. I use thin cleaning brushes.

Try Coating Without Flour
PinkPeony, I've discovered that results with these wonderful, heavy Nordic Ware bundt pans are better when I do NOT flour the pan. Also, I prefer vegetable shortening rather than butter for coating. PAM Baking spray also works but it contains some flour. Then, after baking, make sure you cool your pan quite a bit before turning out the cake. The often recommended 15-minute cooling time is not long enough. For cleaning, soak pan in hot, soapy water for 5-10 minutes or more and use a big, long make-up brush, or something similar, not too stiff, to get into the crevices. Good luck!
