Very Nice!
January 14, 2014
The frame, bag, instructions and zip ties all came shrink wrapped together. It was packed very well in loads of bubble wrap in a box at least five times as big. No damage at all! When I opened the shrink wrap, the willow smelled very nice and each piece looked different. One even had the fuzzy tips of willow woven into it - very pretty! The instructions were very clear. I put it together very easily and it was fun for my 16 month old to watch. He even stood on top of a couple of pieces while I had them laying down flat for assembly. No breakage - very sturdy pieces. Once together, I inserted the black bag (with divider!) and put the planter outside my front door with two potted pansies inside. Looks very nice! As long as you know you are getting a bottomless basket, you won't be disappointed. And the bag does have a divider in it just as the description states. I'm glad I purchased this one and am thinking of buying another!

Charming but flawed
May 4, 2013
I love and hate this planter. I love it because it is very, very charming and I can't help just looking at my herbs growing in it. (I bought 3 of them) I hate it because it has no bottom and is very difficult to work with. The bag doesn't have a divider, but that is OK. Because the bag is soft-sided all around, it is really difficult to fill with dirt and plants and then move. The write-up is incorrect. It sounds like the planter is a bit over 8" wide, so will fit on a window sill in the kitchen, which was my intent, but it is actually almost 14" wide and 8 1/4" tall. So my three are outside and will have to be hauled in during the oppressive Florida summers, which is not easy when filled with dirt and plants. It needs a bottom!!!

disappointed

This might be a fine product if it had some sort of bottom or else side stakes high enough to hold the potting bag handles. Once it is filled with dirt, it can't easily be moved because the bag will fall out of the willow planter.

Cottage Charm
April 27, 2012
Took way too long to arrive, but as expected. Has a cottage-like charm that was exactly as expected. I will say that the bag does not have a divider as stated, but since this is fairly small, I can't complain. Looking forward to planting my herbs in this!
