Great gift for everyday use
February 4, 2015
My partner and I received this set of bowls as a holiday gift from my sister. We absolutely love them. Not only do they look great, but we use them everyday for a range of purposes - serving salads, mixing baked goods, and more. They've stood up to it all - electric beaters, accidental knocks against the granite counter top, and have survived it all.
The best part of these bowls is they look so great you can use them to serve too!
Pros: Durable, Quality, Easy to Clean, Easy to Store, Size, Versatile, Design
Cons: Weight

Cracks far too easily
November 2, 2014
We registered for this product for our wedding registry, and in less than three months of normal use, two of the bowls have large cracks (now unusable) and another has a chip (still usable).
I didn't read the product description where it clearly states stoneware, and if I had, I probably would have selected something else. However, I had purchased a similar item for a friend's registry gift a few years ago that was high-quality melamine, and I thought this was simply an updated version. Still, when I received it, I was thrilled, since I loved both the look and the variety of sizes.
I have hand washed them only, never put them in the dishwasher, never exposed them to heat, and I am in general very conscientious about my things. I'm really bummed that they're simply not durable, especially for the price.
Cons: Fragile
