Delicious but no lava

We just tried this mix tonight. When I read the instructions, I was surprised to see that you just mix the melted-butter-and-chocolate mixture into the rest of the cake batter. I thought the butter/chocolate combo would be the "lava". But I followed the directions, and while we did indeed obtain delicious little cakes, alas they do not actually have the lava effect. The instructions are easy and so while I suppose I could have done something wrong, it seems more likely that the instructions should have been to not mix the butter-chocolate into the batter, but dollop it into each ramekin to make the "lava" effect.
Pros: Texture, Amount, Easy to Prepare, Quality, Good for Entertaining, Decadent, Flavor

No filling!
Since there are no eggs in this cake, the idea is to undercook them enough for the lava effect. Do no cook them all the way through. They should have made that clear in the instructions.
