Michel Bras Mandoline
May 14, 2015
I purchased the Michel Bras Mandoline 4 months ago and love it.
It is so easy to use and makes eating vegetables more fun with the different sizes and shapes I can create with the mondoline.
This is an awesome tool as I make sushi often and use the julienne blades.
My favorite is the crinkle cut blade using squash that I saute in a cast iron pan with coconut oil, dash of cal-tic sea salt and it comes out like I took it off the grill. My husband even eats the squash.
I have so much fun using the mandoline making my veggie tray that I bring to the BBQ are always the topic of discussion of the professional presentation displayed.
I would recommend this mandoline as a state of the art slicer.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Accuracy, Quality, Time-saver, Easy to Clean, Easy to Store, Size, Versatile, Design, Weight, blades very sharp

Uneven Slicing
I just opened the Michel Bras mandoline and started using it. I noticed that there is a little flex/give on the left side of the unit making for slightly uneven slices. Is this normal to have a little give or is something loose on the unit that needs to be tightened? I have not found many review on this unit to confirm that this is normal or irregular. Please let me know as I am tempted to return the unit to see if a new unit does not have this problem. Thank you
