The oversized mesh paddles on these fry tongs allow excess oil and grease to drip away from foods when you're removing them from the fryer. Extra-long arms allow you to remain a safe distance from grease splatter or grill heat. Curved surface of paddles provides a better grip on heavier foods such as corn on the cob. Good and sturdy

Love the length. Was easy to clean. I like the fact that your hand is not too close to the pan, which prevents the splatter of oil burns on the skin.

Great for tempura!

These tongs are great for removing food from oil or liquid. They have a very good spring and they stay locked in my drawer. A longer version would be good for outdoor cooking.
