do NOT waste your money or time!

I entertain often and was in need of a second soda siphon for my home bar. I have had a silver aluminum siphon for years, and when I saw this classic looking unit I thought it looked cool. Admittedly, I purchased it for its looks rather than positive reviews, and I am sorry I did. The head on this unit leaked non stop, and did not stay carbonated long enough to do the job I needed. I subsequently purchased a different aluminum model from Williams Sonoma which I am very satisfied with.
I still have the glass model for show, but not for making cocktails. Don't make the same mistake. Bad product.
Cons: product leaks, drinks don't stay carbonated

Nice Design, But Origin Is Mystery

This soda siphon is beautifully made, but the manufacturing location appears to be a mystery. The website says it's made in Austria, but the box says, "Made in USA." The tags on the box and the base of the siphon indicate Chinese origin.
I like that Williams-Sonoma lists the origin of their products; however, this really makes me question the accuracy.
