Use every day
May 10, 2012
This is a great saucepan, it heats quickly and evenly and is easy to clean. I love the rolled smooth edge. However, the handle is not adequate to take the weight of the kettle and its contents. The handle needs to be wider and heavier. Additionally, the handle on the lid needs to be wider and higher so that you can grasp it without touching the lid when it is hot. It would be great if Mauviel would address these two issues as other wise this is a supurb saucepan.
Pros: Easy to Clean, Size, Shape, Design
Cons: inadequate handle

Awkward to hande
April 22, 2012
This is a high quality pan and cooks very well, but the handle makes it awkward to handle when pouring out the contents. Also, it is difficult to carry when hot and full of liquid such as soup. The handle is very poorly designed and lacks the leverage. I returned mine and bought the All-Clad d5 saucepans instead. They are much easier to handle.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Difficult to Use

Flawless Cookware!
January 11, 2012
The 3.6 quart saucepan is a perfect size, I use it at least once a week. It is excellent for boiling potatoes, squash, a pound of pasta, tomato sauce, reheating some sauce and meatballs etc. It is my favorite of all my larger saucepans. It is made very well, is easy to clean, heats evenly and is designed to last. Mauviel cookware is one of the most expensive lines around and it is worth every penny, it really is lifetime cookware. This saucepan is a definite must have.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Clean, Color, Easy to Store, Size, Versatile, Shape, Design
Cons: Weight
