A beautiful and practical piece. The cooking time is 1/2 of what it was in my original double boiler.

Essential for hot fudge, hollandaise, etc.

Consistent heating source for all sauces. Can lift the porcelain pot with lid to immediately cool down. Beautiful to set right on the table for serving. Would recommend the Le Creuset handle hot pad to secure upper handle for stirring. Clean up is a snap and porcelain pot can be set in the fridge for reheating!
