Stunning! It does not get better than this!

Carrara marble is the best in the world. I'm an arts pro and have been to Carrara Italy - this is THE finest marble (think, Michelangelo/Statue of David for one); it has a very different/distinctive quality from the familiar marble items produced in China...softer color transitions, soft matte texture, etc. Carrara marble household pieces are VERY difficult to come by outside of Italy.
The pieces in the WS collection are superb. This footed bowl is just beautiful, exquisite. It is living art when filled with citrus fruits with a few leaves left on, or pears, etc. It also makes a nice serving piece for some food items...(Note: I have NOT yet used it for anything really greasy..)
This is a classic piece and one that will, well, outlast us! Even if you are going to Italy, consider that it is actually a good value to buy it in the US as the Euro exchange rate is harsh and it is a pain to lug, well, stone items around in your luggage (I know this1st hand!!)
Pros: Durable, Texture, Quality, Easy to Clean, Color, Size, Strength, Versatile, Design, Weight
