This is a beautiful runner that perfectly matches our kitchen. I purchased this rug almost two years ago and I'm considering replacing it. Recently the rug has started shedding all over our clothes and tile floor. It's a mess! As suggested, we have this rug in a high- traffic area in our kitchen. For the price, I would have expected it to last a bit longer.

A really great kitchen floor runner

Quite some time ago, I had purchased the kitchen runner with black trim and I absolutely love this runner - as it is durable and also stylish. With the latex backing I was initially concerned on how it would potentially react with the hardwood flooring; but so far (and I cannot even recall how many years I have had this rug) it is protecting the floor quite nicely. When I vacuum the rug, there are no tears or issues in cleaning. One of the best purchases I have made from W-S.

Beautiful and Durable

I ordered 2 runners for my kitchen. Not only do they stand up to spills and lots of traffic, they are beautiful. I always receive compliments on them. The only complaint I have is that the corners don't stay down, and rug tape does not adhere to the backing very well.

For a small mat this item holds a lot of class and richness.
Although I would have preferred an inch or two larger area, the quality of the materials makes up in appearance what is missing in size.
Also, the black trim has a deep tone so contrasts well with the tan mixtures of the mat.
