Lungarotti Oil

This award-winning olive oil is cold-extracted from Frantoio, Leccino and Moariolo olives harvested from the hillsides surrounding Torgiano, in the heart of the rustic and beautiful Umbria region of Italy. Both robust and balanced, it makes a delicious addition drizzled over grilled vegetables and meats, soups, bean dishes, fresh pasta sauces and the classic Italian snack, bruschetta. 25.4 oz. Made in Italy.

Craveable, Fresh

Such a wonderful oil, absolutely delicious! Discovered it at the Olive Oil/Wine museum in Italy and haven't looked back. Don't cook with it as that would be a travesty! So delicious for decadent dips, of course salad drizzles and the like. Highly recommended and I believe this is one of the only places you can get it in the US?
Pros: Authentic, Quality, Flavor

This olive oil is something special
October 8, 2014
I discovered this olive oil in Italy. I had always thought that all olive oils tasted the same. When I tasted this one, though - WOW. It tastes fresh and has subtle olive flavors that knocked me out. I kept tasting it again and again, because it was SO GOOD. Although it seems crazy expensive, it's actually the same price as the special olive oils like Baker & Olive, per ounce. I buy a bottle and keep it in the refrigerator. I only use it fresh, mostly on vegetables and salads, although it would be great for dipping bread, too. I use other olive oil for cooking, since I buy this for it's special, clean, fresh taste. One bottle lasts me a very long time, as I just use a tablespoon or so at a time. Love this olive oil! It's one of the few things I splurge on, as a treat for myself. I've never tasted a better olive oil.
Pros: Texture, Amount, Easy to Prepare, Authentic, Quality, Good for Entertaining, Flavor, Healthy, Great Gift
Cons: expensive

One of the best Italian oils, great for cooking and salads. Light but tasty, doesn't overpower foods.
