Basting spikes on the lid's interior collect moisture and direct it back to the food. Two handles make it easy to move the pot, even when full. awesome Dutch Oven

Love my Lodge Dutch Oven. Excellent quality. Cooked whole chicken comes out so moist and delicious. Chili will be delicious also. Highly recommend. 7 qt is good size as it easily holds a whole chicken.
