Classic Heirloom Tomato Collection, 4" Plant 6-Pack

Every kitchen garden should include these three heirloom tomatoes, perfect for salads, sandwiches and pastas. All three are indeterminate-for multiple harvests across the growing season-and we've included heirloom varieties that ripen both early and late, to extend the enjoyment all summer long. Yellow Pear: Cherry-sized, pear-shaped tomatoes with a sunny yellow color and a sweet, juicy flavor that lends itself to perking up a fresh summer salad. Kids love them. Brandywine Pink: Vining variety produce big boat-shaped fruit (up to 1 1/2 lb.), with firm, beefsteak texture and sweet-tart flavor. Great for slicing onto burgers. Late-season ripener. Early Girl: Fast-growing, early ripening red vine tomato, bursting with classic tomato flavor. We love them on BLTs and in caprese salads. Zones 3-9. Suitable for container or ground planting. Plants ship in 4" diam. grower's pots. Require full sun and regular watering. Six plants, two of each variety. Grown in USA. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

Not a happy camper
June 19, 2015
The plants were supposed to be delivered last week of April but were delayed until first week of June. When they arrived, they were sickly looking. Had they stayed one more day in transit, they would have died. There were supposed to be 2 ea of 3 different varietals but, when they arrived, there were 3 ea of 2 different varietals: the Black Krim and the San Monzano. Missing were the cherry tomatoes. I clipped the dead branches and dried leaves and incubated plants on kitchen counter for 2 weeks before planting. Don't know if they will survive outdoors because they still look rather spindly.

Sad tomato plants
April 27, 2015
We were so excited about the heirloom tomato plants. Sadly they were unhappy from the start, quickly yellowed and developed spots all over the leaves. We have been hoping that they were just a little stressed from shipping but no amount of care and encouragement has seemed to improve them. Holding out hope until the end of the week before we give up and replace them.
