Littledeer Straining Scoop

Designed by Canadian inventor and designer Tom Littledeer, this beautifully carved utensil has fluid shapes inspired by canoe paddles. Each tool is handcrafted from a single piece of North American maple and smoothly finished. Straining Scoop is ideal for tossing and serving berries, fruit, beets, peas and more. Handcrafted from solid North American maple, a durable, bacteria-resistant hardwood that's ideal for the kitchen. Safe for use with nonstick finishes, glass and porcelain.

Love, love, love this spoon

I love the entire littledeer spoon collection. The original collection did not include this straining spoon which I really needed. I'm so glad that littledeer decided to create this.

great for eggs

Received this strainer as a present, and first used it to drain poached eggs. Also mixed up some eggs for scrambling and lifted hard boiled out of the pan. I'm a lefty, and this tool is great in the hand.
