Wonderful Tool

Beautifully made by the Canadian company Littledeer, with their logo hand etched on the handle. I specifically wanted a quality wood spatula made exactly like this one, with a rounded rather than flat handle. It's very comfortable to hold, the bottom bowl part is a good (but not too large) size, and you can order one for left or right handed use. This "Bake Oar" is great for stirring batter, but also for sautéing things. Note: the photo display is backwards…when you click on the left handed box, you see the right handed spatula, etc., Be sure to click the box you actually want and ignore the fact that the photos are switched around. It's pricey for a mere wood spatula, but it's a lovely solid maple and of excellent quality that will clearly hold up for a very long time. Use Boos board cream on it periodically. A beautiful product and I'm very pleased with it.
