Linen Butcher's Twine
Any professional chef will tell you: linen twine is ideal for tying roasts and trussing poultry because it won't burn or turn brown in the oven. Made in France, ours comes in a convenient clear dispenser with cutting blade. Linen twine will not burn or turn brown in oven. Cut the desired length by pulling the twine across the dispenser lid's blade.

Best Twine for Roasting & Stewing

This linen twine is great for roasting because it doesn't burn like other materials - also doesn't leave an aftertaste. Been using it for years.

Good replacement

My concern about this product was that while it arrives in a very nice container with a great cutter; I wanted it to fit the Shaker style twine holder which I purchased from Williams-Sonoma a few years ago. The customer service assistant with whom I spoke told me that the company would gladly take it back if it did not fit.
I am happy to report, that if this is your concern, it fits perfectly.
Couldn't be without this item in my kitchen.

Perfect for Brociloni

Great for wrapping brociloni-a Christmas tradition in our family. Instead of using toothpicks which are easy to miss, my mother and father wrap the brociloni in this twine. Holds up great in the tomato sauce.
