Poor Quality

Very Disappointing quality, stamped steel and handles made of plastic, these are mass produced, quality not the same as in France and the cost is similar

Great Cheese Knives

I purchased these knives and the grey slate cheese board also available from Williams Sonoma.
The black handles are sturdy and beautiful. The cheese cleaver cut through hard cheese with no trouble.

Beautiful, practical, high quality

Laguiole is a brand I've long admired. I own their steak knives as well, and they've held up impeccably and the blades have not yet dulled.
These cheese knives are not only gorgeous in their presentation, but very useful. The blades are sharp, particularly on the cleaver and the cheese knife -- perfect for those harder rinds.
I've put them through the dishwasher without trouble, though I'm probably not helping their durability.
The presentation in the box is very nice too. A wonderful find!
