Decadent chocolates
December 9, 2010
I can't believe these chocolates don't have more reviews. I ordered a box for my husband last year, as candy was the traditional gift for our 6th anniversary. I wanted to get him something special and stumbled across these chocolates on the William-Somona site. Years previously, a friend had raved about La Maison du Chocolat after a trip to NYC, so I was excited to see them offered (free shipping at the time, too). My husband shared his chocolates with me, and they were the best I had ever eaten: Dense and creamy with a rich glace icing, these confections are a complete taste explosion. Definitely worth the price for a special person or as a special treat for yourself.

Cheaper than a plane ticket
January 29, 2010
If you would like to go to France, but cannot afford to buy a ticket. I suggest you pick up a box of La Maison du Chocolat. I have eaten a lot of chocolate throughout the world on my travels, but this is really truly the best. I usu. stop by one of the stores in Paris when I am there.
It may seem kind of pricey, but it is kind of like eating gold in the chocolate world. Very valuable and very worth it. So indulge yourself. It makes a great gift for those hard to buy for people as well.
