I absolutely love this Peeler! I have thrown out all my other peelers that were not worth the money I spent. I have bought these peeler for all family members and they are as pleased as I am.

This is the best peeler I have ever used. As the previous reviewer said, I have tried lots of others that break, rust, or are just poorly made. I've always had a hard time with peelers and usually end up cutting myself....I have arthritis and have trouble keeping a grip on things. This tool is not difficult to hold, and the shape/style of the blade makes it easy to peel carrots, potatoes, apples, and more. Well worth the money. I purchased one for myself and am buying another as a gift to my mom.

Best Peeler Ever

This is an absolutly awesome peeler. I'm 68 years old, and finally got tired of wasting money on peelers that rust, dull, and bend. Put this on my Christmas list as a request for the "best peeler ever", and boy that's what this is. The different angles are perfect for various veggies, and the blade is razor sharp. Love it! Well worth the money, as I doubt I will ever have to buy another one.

This peeler is great

This peeler is easy to find in the drawer and works great. I was forever catching my nails with the steel blade on my other peeler. Don't have to worry about nicks on my nails anymore and it does a wonderful job on anything I'm peeling. Because its reversible, right or left hand, it takes up just a little more space in the drawer, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Great, until it broke!

I loved this peeler until it broke. It was versatile, comfortable, and effective. However, it has been rendered useless junk since it broke. The blade is held on by two very tiny plastic pegs. Once one peg pops, the peeler is broken for good. Back to the drawing board!

More Potatoes!

My sister-in-law was called to the phone on Thanksgiving while peeling potatoes. I volunteered to finish the task and thought, "I'm an idiot!" I began peeling and realized I was zipping through potatoes and having a ball. This is one terrific vegetable peeler. It seems to intuitively know just how to go around the potato without waste of time, effort or potato. A task usually associated with drudgery is now something I actually look forward to, and we're eating more fresh vegetables because of it. Peeling vegetables is no longer a daunting chore, and I thank my sister-in-law for taking me shopping the day after Thanksgiving - to Williams-Sonoma - and getting me my own peeler. These peelers are destined to be stocking stuffers for a number of family and friends. If ever a gadget was life-changing, this is it: more potatoes, please!

Poor design-Waste of money

I got this product to peel vegetables and perhaps slice cheese. It does neither. A terrible peeler, whose blade snaps off during peeling. The blade is not sharp. I should have returned it but held onto it trying to make due and it finally broke along the palstic where the blade is held into place. Get something for traditional for peeling--not this.

This is the best peeler I have ever used. I have always used the standard metal peelers that rust and quickly become dull.
This peeler takes a bit of time to get used to but once you do, you will love this tool.

I have searched a long time to find a sturdy, sharp vegetable peeler. This one fits the bill. It is a bit awkward to use a first but, the pivoting head allows many angles and does a great job. Now that I am used to it, I wouldn't use any other kind.

The only Peeler you should ever buy

Like a lot of things I have purchased from William Sonoma, I wish I had owned this peeler my entire life. It is the sort of thing that you want to tell everyone you know about because it works so well. I have given 4 as gifts and owned mine for about 2 years. Still as sharp as can be. This is the only peeler that you don't have to fight with on tough vegetables like squash.

Have used this for years and it remains sharp and a pleasure to use. It has also survived my less than ideal housekeeping---and the mayhem that is my gadget drawer---unscathed.

This peeler is super sharp! It is awesome because the angle changes easily between left and right handed peelers--we have one of each in our house! Great product!
