Bright color and cuts clean

I was in the market for an inexpensive kitchen knife and this fills the bill quite nicely. Very sharp. I can save wear on my expensive knives.

So disappointed

I was so disappointed by this knife! I wasn't expecting the greatest thing on Earth being that it was so cheap but at least to be at a satisfactory level.
I first tried it with potatoes. I started cutting it in wedges and the potato just sucked onto the knife. So then I started dicing it and same thing. So then I cut onions, same thing! I thought it was supposed to be nonstick?? Everything stuck onto this knife. Also, it was so dull! I didn't want to sharpen it because I knew I was going to return it and didn't want to scratch the sides.
I don't know if I got a defect one because so many people had wonderful results. I will be returning this item. I bought the paring knife too and that one is really nice...I wish this chef's knife would've been like the paring knife just bigger!

Fabulous knife

I wasn't expecting much given the low price, especially as compared to other knives. But I love this knife - it cuts like a dream and is very light weight. Plus I love the plastic sleave it comes with - no need to purchase a separate holder like most other knives. So great cutting ability and safe storage for a fabulous price - what else could you ask for.

Great knife over all. It is not fancy and it's not expensive which is a big positive.
- It is non-stick. Very helpful when cutting vegetables.
- Easy to clean.
- I love the blade protector because I can put it in the drawer and not worry about it.

Cuts like butter

This knife cuts through veggies and meat like butter. Best knife ever. Be careful, it is VERY sharp. I just wish it was a little bigger.

Nice Knife at Great Price!

I was given one of the Kuhn paring knifes as a gift, so when I knew I wanted another Chef's knife, the non-stick surface of this, combined with the wonderful portability of it having its own sheath, made this a great second choice.
It is a bit smaller than my regular chef's knife, but is great on everything the other does, plus the non-stick coating speeds the separation of potatoes, cucumbers, cheese, etc. Very versatile: It was a perfect choice for taking along on a picnic with the sheath to protect it (and anything else). Worked great at cutting a cake, and serving it too. We will be enjoying this in many settings and applications.

I have always wanted to try a ceramic knife. So when I saw it in the store I bought it. Brought it home and cut my son's apple at bed time. It just glided through it! It was amazing. I'm in love, and just can't wait to use it fore more of my cutting needs.
I was even joking with my husband that I want people to bring over stuff they needed cut/chopped so I could do it for them with my knife.

heads up... not ceramic
Just wanted to give you a heads up... this isn't a ceramic blade. It is a carbon steel blade with a non-stick coating.
It is still a quality product, and for the price you can't go wrong! Handles many kitchen tasks with ease. worried about durability... time will tell

I would marry this knife and have lots of paring knives, though I'm pretty sure that's illegal in all 50 states, pity.
It doesn't even pause when cutting through raw chicken, and yet it can even cut through bagels perfectly. I'm not even sure how it can work so well, but I love it.

Works well in my kitchen as a good mid-range knife. Not fancy, but reliable and user-friendly for most cutting needs. The blade cover is a nice touch.
