Does not stay put

This rug looks very nice but it will not stay in place. I have the smaller size and it keeps moving on my hardwood floors. Even though the description says a rug pad is not needed, I finally put a rug pad under it. Now it slides off of the rug pad. I was very frustrated trying to get the swatch the Williams-Sonoma web site says is available. After talking to about 3-4 customer service reps and receiving an email saying my swatch was on the way, I was told that this rug ships directly from the manufacturer so a swatch is not available. I do like this rug. It is very pretty and seems well made but I do not think it is worth the price for a rug that is a bit of a safety hazard since it will not stay in place

Cons: will not stay in place even with a rug pad, expensive

I bought this rug for my kitchen; the area by the sink where I seem to be standing most of the time! I have a large family and the rug wears great and handles spills nicely.The color blends well with my decor and doesn't show dog hair like my last one did.

needed a 4 x6 rug

4x6 rugs are not that easy to find from a company you trust. the rug serves its purpose under a coffee table and it's basically the right colors for the room. i had to rinse it off as one of my boys was sick on it and it shrank a little on that side, so the binding is no longer straight on that side. this rug is not easy to clean if a pet or human is sick on it.

Great entry rug

It's hard enough to find a rug this long but to also find one that is neutral, not needing to be the star of the show, was a challenge. Since the day I put this down in front of my entry doors it hasn't moved thanks to the gripped backing. The tight weave is holding up very well through the numerous foot-scuffings of family and friends passing over it. These rugs are pricier than the competition but are so much better made that the difference in dollars will be worth it.

Best Rug ever!

I have had this rug for about a year ago for my kitchen. I have spilled about everything you can imagine on it...it does NOT stain. It is so easy to clean and still looks brand new. The quality is amazing. I love it and would highly recommend it.
