hand wash? Are you kidding?

These are great jars! Nice heavy weight, should last forever, and the lids are the standard dome lids for canning.
I don't do anymore canning, but plan to use them for storage. The arthritis in my hands makes washing by hand painful, and besides that, I'm lazy.
So I put them into the dishwasher so they wouldn't clunk together, and all was fine. No clinking or clunking. Honestly I think they put this "hand wash" business in there so they don't get blamed if they do break.
