Disapointed in this expensive

I got it as a gift and was so disapointed to the point that I asked for the receipt and returned it to the store.
These cubes melt very fast, the device melts the regular cubes until they are balls. the problem with that is the integrity of the ice is gone. It's like they start soft.
I use a special silicone mold and the balls are double the size and rock hard. The results from silicone version is much better.
Pros: looks neat, funky to see work
Cons: small, melts fast, expensive, messy
