Lavender Heart Wreath
From the moment you open the box this wreath arrives in, you'll begin enjoying its lush and soothing scent. Hidcote lavender is a dwarf variety of English lavender noted for its fragrance as well as its deep-purple flowers. Ours is grown on a family-owned farm in California, then picked by hand, air-dried and gathered into a heart-shaped wreath accented with cream-colored ribbon. To enjoy its lovely scent all year long, pinch off the blooms and tuck them into drawers. All herbs are grown without pesticides or herbicides. Purchased two: one for my mother and one for a friend's mother. They both really could not have been more pleased. Very fragrant! An outstanding value that will keep on giving with its beauty and scent.

Lovely Lavender

I am very pleased with my Lavender heart purchase. It arrived packed securely and when I opened the box the sweet calming scent of lavender filled my kitchen.

Sad Surprise

I purchased the lavender heart wreath for my wife's birthday, (among other WS items) and had it delivered to her office to surprise her. It was a terrible dissapointment... poorly packaged, dry and faded with very little scent. There were more 'loose' blooms on the bottom of the box then on the stems. She ended up putting the blooms in a couple of velvet satchels to keep near the bed. She forgave me, but I won't purchase another wreath or floral product from WS. They need to monitor the QC of their outsourced items more closely!
Pros: looked great in the catalog.
Cons: poor quality and packaging

Beautiful & Fragrant

I bought this wreath to go on the door we use the most to go in and out of our home. Every time I approach the door I admire its beauty; every time I open the door I enjoy the waft of lavender fragrance that permeates the space. Definitely too delicate to be on anything other than a sheltered door/window.
Pros: well woven, looks just like the pic on the web
Cons: only for sheltered area

So Disappointing!

It is so unfortunate this Lavender Heart Wreath is such a disappointment.
The color is very dull, sheds terribly, much of the lavender was broken off in box. It's small...a terrible investment. Too costly and very poor quality.
I'm so disappointed. I had expected so much more from the photo description.
I am hesitant to ever buy another wreath from WS.

I thought the lavender would be too strong, but it's not! I only smell it if I'm 2 feet in front of it. I loved it so much I bought one for my mom!

Falls apart

this wreath looks beautiful in the catalog, however, the petals fall off very easy. When we hung it on our front door every time we closed the door the hundreds of petals would fall. After just a few door closings the wreath looked very ragged and we had petals all over the front door area, inside and outside. I would not recommend this wreath.

Broken Heart Mended with a Change of Plans

Although the lavender provided a lovely smell, the construction of the wreath and the packaging left much to be desired. A good deal of the lavender was at the bottom of the box and it was not suitable for the door I had intended to display it on. It is very delicate and can not be hung on a door that will open and closed frequently or you will find the lavender will be on the floor all to often. I changed my plans for the wreath and propped it on on my fireplace mantle where it looks lovely. If the intention is to hang the wreath, it may be more appropriate on a wall or door that is not in a high traffic area.

Wonderful Gift

I gave the Lavender Heart Wreath to my mother for Valentine's Day, and it made quite an impression. I was surprised over how well-crafted it was and the lovely scent. Most lavender products I have purchased have a strong, herbal smell. The wreath has a soothing floral lavender scent that is not overpowering. Something to keep in mind if you order one, even though the wreath is well secured for shipping, mine arrived with several sprigs of lavender that had shaken off into the box. The wreath still arrived very full, but handle with care when mounting, it will shed. I took the loose sprigs and made a sachet out of them.

My wreath came and fell apart when picked up. The top part of the heart was not secure and many branches fell off. It smelled wonderful but I had to return it.

Lavender steals my Heart

This wreath arrived very quickly after ordered. It was well packaged so it could not move around in the box and get damaged. Upon opening the box I was greeted with the wonderful fresh smell of lavender. I did think the wreath would be bigger but that is probably more my problem than Williams Sonoma's. It is a bit small for a large door. I kept it indoors instead and my whole family room smelled fresh and clean. I hope I get another one next

I ordered the Lavender Heart Wreath as a gift and it arrived in less than acceptable state. Many of the lavender buds had shed. I feel that packaging should be improved for this product.

I expected a wreath with (obvious) fragrance but I didn't expect it to retain its scent for as long as it has. I'm pleasantly surprised. It's a bit of an awkward piece to hang and a little messy in its shedding. I would probably go with a conventional round wreath next time. Packing and shipping were adequate although the piece was a bit smashed and not the symmetric heart shape you might expect.

The wreath is so cute and put together so well that there is almost no shedding of the lavender. It works great as an outdoor wreath (on a covered porch).

Great scent, good alternative to fresh cut flowers

The heart wreath just arrived. Merely opening the box filled the room with a lovely scent. I'd had surgery, so there were a number of fresh flower arrangements around the house. I was glad to see something different that would last. It's on the mantel. -- I'm sorry the person from Hemet didn't have the same experience. I live near Hemet, so I assume they came from the same warehouse. It is dried, not fresh, but lovely.

What a letdown

No scent to speak of, ribbon frayed at ends, I don't expect to keep it up long, just long enough to feel good about spending so much money for this. Looks like it was a leftover from their Christmas stock and "fresh" is not the word that comes to mind when I see what was sent to me.

This is beautiful and smells good. Not as small as some say. My only gripe would be that it is fragile so it needs to be placed in an area where noone will bump into it, etc. I really wanted to put in on the back of our door, but with it opening and closing, that won't do.
