Haviland Tambour Dinnerware

Delicate brushstrokes of gold and platinum form a rhythmic border in Haviland's classic Tambour pattern, which takes its name from the French word for "drum." Master artisans hand paint the fillets and graduated circles on white porcelain from Limoges, France, where Haviland dinnerware has been produced since 1842. Dishwasher safe. The five-piece place setting includes an 11" diam. dinner plate, 8 3/4" diam. salad plate, 6 1/4" diam. bread and butter plate, 6.8-oz. cap. teacup and 5 3/4" diam. saucer. Also available: Rimmed Soup Bowl, 9 1/2" diam. Made in France.

Beautiful and Worth It
July 19, 2014
These are beautiful, well made and a pleasure to use. Having two sets of antique Haviland china that we have enjoyed, I decided I wanted a new set. These are of even better quality and absolutely beautiful. It took eleven weeks to get them but was certainly worth it.
