A little flimsy

Although the colors in these placemats are very pretty, there is no lining or backing to them. They appear cheap and flimsy. I will go to the fabric store and purchase some fabric so that I can sew on some backing and light padding to make them more of what i wanted them to be.

Too Thin to Use as Placemats

I was truly disappointed in the quality of these placemats. The material was so thin they could have been used as napkins and not placemats. This is not representative of the high quality I'm used to with Williams-Sonoma products and will be more careful when ordering on line in the future.
