Gluten-Free Lobster Mac and Cheese

This gluten-free version of Hancock Gourmet's famous lobster mac and cheese tastes just like the original. It's made with elbow quinoa pasta blended with big bites of sweet Maine lobster in a rich, creamy mascarpone-cheddar sauce made with gluten-free flour. Sprinkled on top are breadcrumbs made from corn and rice mixed with Romano cheese. Perfect for quick weeknight meals, the mac and cheese is a snap to prepare-simply pop into the oven until bubbling-hot then serve. Based in coastal Maine, Hancock Gourmet is a family-run company focused on high-quality seafood specialties prepared with fresh, locally caught Maine shellfish and inspired by family recipes. 40 oz. (serves 4-6). Shipped frozen. Made in USA.

Great for entertaining
November 23, 2015
The chunks of lobster are huge. It is real lobster meat. It is creamy and delicious. It lasted for a couple of days. I put the leftovers in the microwave with a bit of water. It still tasted great the next day. I would definitely order this dish again. It is a wonderful choice for a holiday meal. It feels so special to eat it with the large lobster chunks in it.
Pros: Quality, Good for Entertaining, Flavor, Decadent, Easy to Prepare

Cross contamination issues
October 25, 2015
When you get this, the first thing you note is a card stating it wasn't made on or packaged with dedicated equipment. That means if you're truly allergic to gluten watch out --cross-contamination is likely. For those simply trying to cut down their gluten intake (and not with celiac disease) it's not an issue. Otherwise you're paying a lot of money for something that is Russian roulette. Very disappointing.
Cons: Texture, cross-contamination

Gluten Free Lobster Mac & Cheese
July 26, 2014
Tastes very good. It may be expensive, but it costs to package it and ship it, and it is lobster; still cheaper than going out for dinner. If you want to try something for fun that tastes good, you will enjoy this. Good for about 4 servings. Enjoy!
Pros: Easy to Prepare, Good for Entertaining

Very small portions, incredibly costly and quality concerns in my opinion

This was an amazing product. I shared this product with my family, it was gone in a matter of minutes. Everyone loved it. The lobster is fresh, the noodles held up, and I was extremely impressed. Cant wait to have it again.. Maybe for Easter..
