Trudeau Graviti Electric Salt & Pepper Mills
Adding fresh-ground sea salt or pepper to food can be as effortless as a flip of the wrist. Invert these battery-operated mills over food, and their blades begin to whirl. Turn them upright, and the mechanisms shut off. Made by Trudeau, the innovative automatic design lets you grind salt or pepper with one hand - just turn the grinder over. Made of stainless steel with a satin finish. Corrosion-proof ceramic grinding mechanisms. An acrylic window displays the contents and fill level. Because the mechanism is on top, the grinding residue is neatly contained between uses. Each mill uses six AAA batteries (included).

Love this grinder, not only for the ease but the shape of the spout allows me to grind into a measuring spoon. Can be a bit temperamental with the batteries...just open up and make sure all batteries are securely in place. Makes great gift for the cook that has everything!

I purchased the Salt and Pepper mills, mainly because I was tired of always having to twist the old ones. These have been great and would recommend them to everyone.

When you need a lotta peppa

I tried a cheaper version of this mill from another store, and it was, indeed, cheap. The "stainless steel finish" was really plastic with shiny metallic paint on it. And it made a mess when I tried to change the batteries--all the peppercorns spilled out.
Now, THIS grinder is the real deal. It's heavy and sturdy. It's perfect for seasoning a big piece of meat and for making rubs and marinades. Freshly ground pepper without all the time and effort.
Well worth the price.

I bought this set with gift certificates that I received for Christmas a year ago. I like being able to have one hand free when operating them. They are holding up very well. I have received so many compliments about them too.

Doesn't work. Took out of box. Adjusted batteries four times. Ground a little bit. Adjusted amount of pepper. Stopped working. Not up to WS quality.

I love my new salt and pepper grinders. I purchased them at Jacksonville,Fl and I am very happy with them and they work so smooth and effortless. My husband says they are a lazy-man item but I say they are great..glad of the purchase!!!!

I love this grinder. Since I discovered their 5 Peppercorn Blend I have been using an old fashion grinder. Finally got this and I love it. Simple directions.I found it easy to load. Love it!!!!

I love these! Didn't know they existed until I received them for Christmas! Makes it easy to add salt and pepper while I am stirring, or if I have one hand covered in olive oil that I am rubbing into veggies/fish/meat. I used to have to call my kids over to grind salt/pepper while I was doing that, now I can do it on my own. It would probably work to have one with a button too, but love this automatic one!

This is the worst product I've ever had in my life. The salt shaker has never worked. When you try to fill it there is no way to put it down because it's slanted and won't stand up straigt. I end up with salt all over the place. The salt causes the batteries to corrode. The worst design I've ever seen. I feel so strongly about how awful this product is that I decided to write the first product review of my life.

Try this!
We love these grinders. Sit them on their flat bottoms but them turn them towards the food when you use them.
Be sure to use coarse salt for use in grinders. I wish I had a second set!

This newer design is easier to fill and to separate the battery compartment. The unlocking mechanism is adequate with clear directional arrows. Just be sure to double-check that the plastic tab is turned completely to the lock position after filling.
Metal exterior now wipes clean and is preferable to the former metallic plastic

With the top adjustment for grind, it is just a simple matter of turning the mill upside down to quickly get the needed amount. As with any mill, it is best to do this away from steam. Occasionally when grinding large amounts, you need to turn the mill upright--but then you are off and running again.

The Best Pepper Mill Ever!

I have had this pepper mill for more than a year, and I love it. This is the second year I have given it as Christmas presents. Easy to use, it never fails me. I spent several months trying out many different mills and this one won out every time.
The directions for it are on the bottom of the mill and are easy to miss - be sure to check them out on how to refill - and use your mill for the first time.
