The Ideal Cookbook
May 4, 2011
I love this cookbook because it is both elegant and very approachable. I've only had success with it! So far, I've tried the braised artichokes, the panna cotta with rhubarb, the slow-cooked chicken and the roasted squash salad, and all have been delicious and beautiful and just complex enough to be interesting without being at all fussy. Sara Kate Gillingham Ryan is a feminine Jamie Oliver. She makes you feel relaxed and happy, like you have a friend in the kitchen who knows what she's doing and transmits all of her ease to you. I can't wait for summer to try some of the fish and fresh tomato and fruit dishes... This book is destined to be a staple and a classic.
Pros: Easy to Use, Accuracy, well-written, gorgeous to look at

Buy this book!
May 4, 2011
A friend told me about Good Food To Share and I immediately fell in love with it. I then bought a copy for another friend who also loves it! It has inspired an international challenge to see who will make their way through the most recipes by Summer. (So far my friend is winning but it's only 'cause she's preggers and isn't working right now. T.M.I.?) Buy this book! You won't be disappointed.

My favorite cookbook!
May 4, 2011
I got this book a couple of months ago and have tried quite a few recipes - all of which have been terrific (in most of my other cookbooks I usually only find one or two I really like). Although the book is about cooking for company, it works just as well as a family cookbook. My children especially love the mediterranean chicken and sea bass, and the chocolate pudding pops (who wouldn't??). I love that the recipes are easy to follow and not too complicated, ingredients are easy to find and the results are delicious. An absolute keeper!
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality

What a beautiful book
February 16, 2011
Just got this book and have read through the whole thing. I've made a few of the recipes and so far, they're great. Perfect for entertaining, but also for quick weeknight dinners. Nothing too complicated or esoteric here, but also nothing too plain-Jane.
The photography really is spectacular - it all inspires me to start having more dinner parties.
