French pastry chefs rely on classic fluted pans like this one to create attractive tarts with tender golden crusts. The nonstick finish releases pastry intact. Heavy-gauge tinned steel promotes uniform baking. Removable bottom supports the baked crust while you slip off the pan's outer ring. Pan bottom also aids in transferring the tart to a plate or cake stand. Nonstick exterior finish simplifies cleanup. Pan is equally suited to preparing savory quiches. Made in France by a company that has produced quality bakeware since 1887.

I have used this a couple of times now and am really pleased with the results. The pan lives up to its non-stick claims and the bottom detaches easily.
When cooking, the heat is distributed evenly, so no overdone spots.
Clean up is a breeze due to the non-stick factor.
This is great for a small savory tart to accompany a salad for a Saturday lunch.
Love it and recommend it.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Clean, Easy to Store, Size, Design, Weight

Nonstick is the only way to go!!

William Sonoma is the only place I could find a nonstick rectangular tart pan. The non coated ones will eventually give off a metal or tinny taste. It's worth a little extra because the pan will become a heirloom, it will last a long, long time. Just got the tart pan last week. Here's to many pear & almond tarts in the future.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Clean, Shape, Design, nonstick
