I purchased this item when it was on sale and made it for a dinner party that night. It was very easy to make and turned out wonderfully delicious. Everyone loved it. I would definitely make it again and would highly recommend it.

Rich, Moist, yet light with a wonderful texture

I love to bake, and I always bake cakes from scratch. I taste a cake and know if it is a mix or not. This cake is different. it is the MOST delicious chocolate cake I have ever tasted, so pure and clean..no one would ever believe it was a mix. No need for icing (It would actually detract from the flavor). This cake is moist, light with a rich chocolate taste, a hint of sea salt. i highly recommend this mix and am back to buy several more to have on hand for any occassion. This cake tastes very special and came out perfect. I followed the directions precisely and it was so simple and easy, all the measuring was done for me. Enjoy!
Pros: Texture, Easy to Prepare, Authentic, Quality, Good for Entertaining, Time-saver, Decadent, Flavor, Great Gift, no one would guess this was a mix
Cons: lots of butter but its cake!

Made this Again.
Made this mix again using the small individual size springform pan. You don't need to put parchment on the bottom...just spray and flour. Came out perfect again. This time I served with fresh rasberries and vanilla bean ice cream. The cake was crunchy on the outside with a moist fudge center. This is an impressive desert with restaurant quality taste and presentation.
