This is the same satisfyingly rich, dark-roast coffee served in Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery. Prepared to chef Keller's exacting specifications and artisan roasted by hand, it's a custom blend of beans from four of the world's key coffee-growing regions. Medium-dark in the Viennese style roast coffee reveals a rich mouth-feel with moderate acidity and an impeccably smooth finish. Sumatra Golden Pawani is dominant, supported by African and Latin American coffee beans. Highlighted by flavor notes of tropical wood, spice, cocoa and berry. Ideal for brewing in a French press or Technivorm Moccamaster Coffee Maker. 12 oz. Roasted in USA from imported beans.

It tasted stale

I don't think I've ever given a rating for WS at less than 4 stars. But this coffee was not good. It tasted old, the beans did not even smell fresh when you opened the bag, and after only two pots, we threw them away. Sorry, WS, but we won't be ordering this again.

Nice smooth rich tasting coffee. No bitterness and has a full mouth feel unlike most coffee brands on the market.

MY NEW FAVORITE COFFEE BLEND

This is perhaps the smoothest and least acidic coffee that I have ever tasted. It is a beautiful blend which has a rich mouth feel and the cocoa and berry notes come through with each sip. Delicious and it ships for free since I am a Williams Sonoma Reserve Member. This blend is apparently an artisan blend developed for Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery. It will please even the most discerning coffee connoisseur. I used my Chemex, a drip method to make this coffee.
