Beautiful functional bowls

The Artisan line appeals to me and I knew I wanted deep bowls that didn't flare out at the top. They are a bit thinner than I expected, but feel very sturdy and the weight is right in the middle I'd say. These can definitely hold their own on a table if used as serving bowls. Everyone that has seen them comments on how pretty they are. If they get another color in stock I will buy another set. As far as price I'd like to point out a very popular website teamed up with a Southern magazine and have a set that replicates almost exactly my grandmother's large bowl I have. They wanted exactly twice as much for their set of three bowls. This is a fair price for the quality. One other small thing is the glaze covers the inside and outside of the bowls completely, but the bottom of the bowls are not glazed. Because of this I let them dry out on the bottom before I will stack them inside each other.
