Ebelskiver Pan & Mix Set
A beloved treat in their native Denmark, ebelskivers are light, puffy pancakes that can be filled with fruit, chocolate, jam or cheese and served for breakfast or as an hors d'oeuvre, dessert or light supper. The pancakes are easy to prepare at home using our popular pan made by Minnesota-based Nordic Ware. Made of cast aluminum for superior heat retention and distribution. Premium nonstick coating ensures clean release of the ball-shaped pancakes. Riveted cast-stainless-steel handle stays cool. Pan makes seven 2 1/4" diam. pancakes. Ebelskiver classic mix combines premium ingredients including enriched flour, sugar and a hint of pure Madagascar Bourbon vanilla for light sweetness. Batter is simple to make: just add milk, butter, whipped egg whites and egg yolks. Pan is 9 1/2" diam., 1 1/2" high. Mix is 1 lb. 2 oz. Made in USA. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

A Great Gift

I bought the Ebelskiver Pan & Mix Set for my sister as a fun housewarming gift. She has been raving about it!! She says the pan is heavy and well-made, and talks about how easy it is to use. She has 3 yr old who highly recommends it as well.
They used the mix that it came with and said it's very good.
They've experimented with plain ones rolled in cinnamon sugar, and have added fillings such as nutella, strawberry jam mixed with honey, and even did bits of ham and cheese for a fun late afternoon snack.
You'd think this might be one of those gifts that stays in the box and never sees the light of day...but she went so far as to video them using it, showing how much fun they were having and how easy it was to turn the little yummies over with the use of chopsticks.
Based on her review, I highly recommend this product. I think we'll buy one of these for ourselves..

Nice new twist on breakfast

Pan and mix came together and was delivered as promised. There is a nice video on how to make these on the website which was nice. The pan worked great and the ebelskivers were delicious. The recipes were easy to follow and made for a delicious and new breakfast.
Pros: Easy to Use, Easy to Clean
