Double Blade Grapefruit Knife
This ingenious knife now makes cutting a grapefruit an effortless task. The straight, double blades slip through the grapefruit membranes in one easy motion while the curved blade quickly removes grapefruit sections from the citrus rind. Twin serrated blades effectively section fruits at the membrane and prevent juices from squirting. The curved blade on the other end removes sections from the rind while keeping the flesh intact. Stainless steel blades and wood handle. Hand-wash.

Poor styling

This knife has a double blade: one end is for cutting into the grapefruit membrane and the other is for separating the grapefruit sections. Because of the double-edge styling, when I use one side of the knife, I have to be careful that the other sharp edge does not dig back into my hand and wrist as I hold the knife. Also, time will only tell how the wooden handle will hold up under frequent washings.
The knife is attractive and I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency of order processing and receipt of item, although at $7.98 it may be a bit overpriced.
I would recommend this grapefruit knife only with the above caveats.
