Best Ice Cream Maker Ever!

After fighting with several motors from the "old fashioned" ice cream type makers, I reluctantly gave in and bought this product. I couldn't be happier! It is SO easy. Depending upon your recipe you can go from ingredients to serving ice cream in 20 minutes, although I usually like to freeze the finished product for a few hours. I keep both freezer bowls in my freezer at all times. I have bought this product as gifts and I am frequently asked for the model information from my guests. It's GREAT!

I would recommend this ice cream maker to a friend because it is so easy to use and makes ice cream so quickly. The recipe book that it comes with has wonderful ice cream recipes.

Great summer gadget

I received this as a gift as I had been wanting one for awhile. Love that a recipe book is included (I made the chocolate for starters). It was super simple to mix up and just hit the on switch. Also love the extra bowl so I can make two kinds at once and just clean up one mess. I'm ready to make more and get creative! Only downfalls are that it is really loud when mixing and large to store for something used only occasionally. Storage isn't an issue for me but if you are short on space, this isn't for you.

Great Purchase For Ice Cream Lovers!

We love ice cream. But the calories. Great way to make homemade ice cream with all fresh ingredients. We tried Strawberry first. Within 15-20 minutes it was ready. Having an extra bowl means you can easily have an ice cream party with more than one flavor.
Can wait to try butter pecan next.

I really love this ice cream maker its very simple to use and having two bowls means that there's always one frozen and ready to go. while the ice cream is very good, raspberry lime sorbet has been my favorite so far.

I made warm apple crisp with fresh, home made vanilla ice cream. My husband LOVED it. He went back for seconds! It will be especially nice when my grandsons are here as the older ones can each make their own kind of ice cream because of the two freezer bowls.

We have used this ice cream maker practically every day for the past 8 months and have bought others as gifts. It is extremely easy to make fabulous high-quality ice cream, but it is also simple to make wonderful non-fat, sugar-free frozen yogurt in a snap. Add Splenda (or other artificial sweetener)* to a large tub of non-fat yogurt (strawberry or lime are our favorites), pour mixture into turning bowl of ice cream maker and wait about 5-10 minutes. We have had a lot of fun experimenting with different flavors and recipes --*additional sweetener is necessary as sweet taste decreased as mixture freezes.

Just stopped functioning after used 6 times

One day I had liquid at the end of the running time. I this machine in December 2011 (Christmas shopping) last year as well as several for gifts but didn't use mine until summer. So the warranty wouldn't apply. The mechanism that churns it stopped working so I had two orders of mush. It was great when it worked but not reliable.

Great tasting low-sugar recipe

Put 1 3/4 cups whole milk in a sauce pan and add 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of gourmet sea salt, and 1/8 teaspoon of Kal Pure Stevia Powder. Stir while heating under medium flame until bubbles start to form around edges. Turn off heat and cool for 4 minutes. Whisk 4 egg yolks in a bowl, then slowly add 1/2 cup of heated milk to eggs while whisking. Next, slowly add egg mix to sauce pan milk while stirring. Turn on low flame until mix thickens and coats back of spoon. Transfer custard base to bowl covered in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Once cold, whisk custard mix with 1 3/4 cups cold heavy (or regular) whipping cream, a tablespoon of pure vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice. Refrigerate 3 hours or more. Follow machine instructions. Pour cold mix into bowl and churn for 15 minutes. Fabulous! The gourmet sea salt sharpens the flavor, but most important, there's a huge health advantage to eating less sugar!

i've tried to resist buying an ice cream maker for quite some time. i've have always had my eye on the attachment to my KA mixer until this was a "deal of the day" during the Christmas season. For only 40$, i swallowed adding yet another machine to our kitchen and ordered it online (and didn't tell my husband until it arrived).
we just made mango sorbet today and were so thrilled at how easy it was to make an awesome dessert. i'm so glad this came with an extra bowl because i know we're going to use it often!

ps - mango sorbet - puree 4 chopped mangos, 1c simple syrup and 3T fresh lime juice in a FB. pour it in the ICM bowl and flip the switch!

Easy to use and clean up! I love this product so much. I've made Lemon Sorbet and Vanilla Ice Cream with my daughter, so far. Both were a big hit! I would recommend this to anyone. Can't wait to make more delicious flavors!

Homemade ice cream made east

Did an excellent job of making ice cream. This is a replacement for an older ice cream maker. It not only performed as advertised (ice cream was churned in 20 minutes), but it was relatively quiet. Also liked the extra freezer bowl.

Having the two bowls is really helpful, expecially if making frozen treats for a group or if you want to make two different types of ice cream/frozen yogurt at one time - just switch bowls as the first one finishes.

This machine is very easy to set up and use. The ice cream sets up very quickly, and the bowl stays cold for a long time. The parts are a breeze to clean. This is our new family favorite! It is a bit noisy, but not intolerable.

We have already churned up some awesome blends in this fun kitchen addition
I was really pleased that after keeping the freezer bowl in freezer overnight made a
distinct difference in the thickness- It's really so easy to clean and use that you won't hesitate to make your own custom blends a day ahead of entertaining friends- They will love it and so will you.

This ice cream maker with recipes was really easy to use and makes it quickly.
My major disappointment with this product was that I ordered a RED one as a Christmas gift for my family only to find out on Christmas when my brother was opening our gifts that what we received was the WHITE one. We also got a RED popcorn popper so this white appliance messed up the color scheme in my Mom's kitchen. She put it away.
