Perfect popcorn
September 15, 2013
I have had this item over a year and use it once a week. All kernels pop and as soon as I don't hear any more popping the machine has made a perfect batch of popped corn! I love this item. I prefer to melt a little butter separately in the microwave instead of using the attached container because some of us in the family don't want the added butter. I love to sprinkle Old Bay over the popcorn when it's done. I also use coconut oil in the popper as the oil for the kernels. The machine sits out on my countertop in the corner since it is used frequently.
Pros: Easy to Use, Easy to Clean, Speed

Cheap Clips
September 2, 2013
I bought this from another retailer ignoring the 2 year old reviews that said the clips that hold it together broke after just a few uses. I thought years later it would have been fixed. I was wrong. The plastic clips break and there is no real way of keeping it assembled when this happens. A serious design flaw that I am shocked to find in Cuisinart. I usually find their products above reproach and well thought out. No so much so for this one. Try a stainless steel stove popper with a hand crank for easy of cleanup, durability and superior performance.
Cons: Quality, Fragile, poor design
