I purchased this machine when it first came out in 1984. I use it for everything. The large bowl size allows me to make large quantities of doughs, shredded cabbage for coleslaw, and uniform sliced onions for French onion soup. At 30 years old the warranty on the motor expired 5 years ago. Amazing machine!
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Time-saver, Power, Easy to Clean, Design
Cons: Weight, Difficult to Store, Loud

Best for Dough

I was having problems with Magimix 16 cup (making bread dough)in less than 3 months , after spending like $500 plus accessories and PARTS , costing me almost $1000. SO I finally had it, I bought this one instead. Returned magimix. This is perfect for making bread, it does not get worn out like Magimix. The only minor problem I have is that it get spills when there is a bit too much liquid, other than that, nothing major like Magimix. If you got the money, And like making Artisan bread buy this one instead, less of a headache.
