Creminelli Sliced Prosciutto

A native of northern Italy, Cristiano Creminelli has been producing artisanal salumi, following in the footsteps of his family dating back to the 1600s. In 2006, he brought the art of fine salumi to America, starting up production in Utah and using only the best quality all-natural American heritage Duroc pork from antibiotic-free, pasture-raised pigs. Following the centuries-old tradition, he cures pork legs in sea salt for up to a year to yield prosciutto that is silky, smooth and savory. Conveniently pre-sliced and packed, it's ready to use for entertaining, picnics or cooking. Shipped chilled. Two 12-oz. packs, 24 slices per pack (1 lb. 8 oz. total). Made in USA.

Perfection
October 24, 2014
I recently ordered and received the Creminelli Sliced Prosciutto and could not be happier.
The order arrived within 4 days and appeared to come directly from Creminelli themselves. It was perfectly packaged for travel with two Gel Blocks and within a Styrofoam box within a cardboard box. I feel it could have even lasted a couple of days on my porch.
The meat itself is delightful, delicious, tender, wonderful. I could go on, but you get the point. Creminelli has taken his meat curing craft out of Italy and directly to our country to create his centuries old family recipes. I am so glad he did. We have already used this prosciutto to make egg cups, panini sandwiches, omelettes and served with cheese and melons. It shines in every dish and is worth every penny.
Pros: Texture, Amount, Easy to Prepare, Authentic, Quality, Good for Entertaining, Time-saver, Flavor, Great Gift
