This trio of traditional French-style pates is hand made from a family recipe using wholesome ingredients. All meats are produced without antibiotics or hormones, and each recipe is free of preservatives, artificial ingredients and nitrites. Pate with Black Pepper: A classic, dense blend of pork, pork liver, red wine and black pepper, topped with a layer of black-pepper aspic. Rillettes de Porc: Features shredded pork meat and savory pork fat cooked into a substantial confit and finished with a layer of pork fat, in the traditional style. Truffle Mousse: Chicken livers, black truffles, porcini mushrooms and sherry, cooked into a creamy mousse and finished with a layer of black-truffle aspic. Three 7-oz. packages, one of each flavor. 1 lb. 5 oz. total. Shipped chilled.

Country Pate collection

I received the shipment and put all 3 pate's in the refrigerator. I tried the Truffle Mousse made from Chicken livers. It was really smooth and delicious. Even my 7 yr old son liked it on bread. I can't wait to try the other 2.
Pros: Texture, Easy to Prepare, Good for Entertaining, Decadent, Flavor
Cons: Unhealthy
