Cloisonne Holly Napkin Rings, Set of 4

Artisans craft each of these napkin rings by hand, using techniques passed down through generations. Their rich colors, subtle shading and fine details are created through cloisonne, an ancient metalworking technique where "cells" (cloisons) of copper wire are filled with colorful glass enamels and fired in a kiln. Approx. 4" long. 1 1/4" diam. rings. Set of four. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive. Made in China.

Cloisonne?? Mnn!!! In my opinion, I don't understand why these are called Cloisonne because I have seen real Closonne (Chinese) and these napkin rings are not the real thing! This is just a metal type work, more like enamel but not exactly either. The little, red ball on the holly leaves is just plain plastic and it makes it look cheap. I will keep them, but I can't give these a 5 star rating. I expected a better product, better quality than these are!
Cons: Texture, Quality, Design, High-Maintenance, Fragile, look cheap, not real cloisonne
