Our blend begins with a pound of fresh shallots, which are roasted and combined with sweet and savory ingredients to bring out their flavorful character. Fresh shallots are slow-roasted to give them a smoky caramelized finish. Blended with red wine vinegar, brown sugar and salt for a balance of sweet and savory. Love this stuff - great in salads, sauces, sandwich spread, topping for meat, pasta sauce,mixed with veggies, pizza, and on & on! Can't get enough - love it by the spoonful!!!

Great addition to salad greens along with caramelized walnuts, goat cheese, sundried tomatoes and balsamic dressing! Also delicious on paninis!

My favorite quickie add in for sauces

Saves chopping & sauting fresh shallots when I'm in a hurry - like trying to get dinner on the table right after work. The vinegar in the liquid is not strong and adds a nice tang to the finished sauce.
