The artistry of master ceramists is evident in every detail of these petite French stoneware bowls, perfect for serving everything from condiments to cocktail snacks. Artisans shape and glaze the bowls using an intricate 17-step process to achieve the unique "crackled" appearance and richness of color. The durable, chip-resistant bowls are fully glazed inside, with the exteriors left partly unglazed to showcase the clay's natural matte bisque. They're crafted in the South of France at the award-winning Jars Ceramistes, founded in 1857. 5-oz. cap.; 3 3/4" diam.; 1 3/4" high. Microwavable and dishwasher safe. Set of four.

Perfect for small portions and various uses

These small bowls are perfect as a desert dish [such as scoop of ice cream] as well as for nuts, condiments, salsa for chips, etc. We are happy with the purchase and find new uses for these items on a regular basis.
