I love the depth of the Sear pan for quick browning and the size of the Slide pan for an easy release omelet. They're both easy to clean and very durable.

I hesitate buying cookware without touching it first but I love using this set. The size is just right for me. I like the weight not too heavy or too light. The non-stick surface is as good as any I have ever used. Would highly recommend.

Easy clean-up!

I have only had these pans for a short time and have used them for quite a few meals and cooking tasks. I made sure that I read all the reviews/instructions before purchasing/using them. Taking care when it comes to which utensils I use in them and I also hand wash them. They clean-up so easily even after sauteing lots of veggies in them. I am not going to use cooking sprays as I have in the past with other pans so as not to leave a residue on them. A little olive oil works fabulously!

These are my favorite pans, they cook beautifully and clean with no effort. The price was great as well. The lid fits on both so takes up less storage room. I highly recommend the set.

Great set for just about everything

Bought my wife the larger skillet of this set for Christmas 2012. This set came out a few weeks ago and we just had to have them to complete our set. We cook a lot. These take the abuse and are a joy to cook with. Great value for such great pans.

I started my collection with the Unison Fryer w/ basket and now this 3 piece set. I absolutely enjoy cooking with this cookware. So easy to clean, durable and the design is so beautiful to look at. I'll be buying the rest of the collection in the near future.

Good quality cookware with a good weight and feel. I own other Calphalon utensils and they cannot be put into a dishwasher. This says that it is dishwasher safe. I will probably handwash anyway - but I do like having the choice.

The Best Cookware Ever

After years of struggling with inferior nonstick pans, Calphalon has really come up with a winner. These two pans are perfect, and the lid fits both perfectly, too.
Evenly distributed heat, beautifully balanced, heavy enough without being awkward to use, and a snap to clean -- what's not to like. And at this price, I should buy a set for everyone I know!
Maybe the handles are a little longer than they need to be, but that's a minor quibble, given how wonderful these pans are.

I've only had these pieces for a few weeks, but have used them a lot. I love that the lid fits either pan - wonderful storage saver becasue I can turn the lid upside down on the saute pan and then the fry pan sits perfectly on top! I also like the simplicity when it comes time for cleanup!

I have only used the large skillet one time. I noticed when I was hand washing it that it already had scratches in the bottom of the pan. Your instructions said to use wooden or nylon utensils. I used only a wooden spoon. You should alter those instructions to read only nylon utensils.

Have you considered silicone utensils?
Several years ago I replaced all my wooden and nylon utensils with silicone utensils and I am glad that I did. I have a number of Calphalon pots and pans and they are not showing any sign of scratches. In addition, the silicon utensils that I have, are rated up to 500 degrees. I do agree that Calphalon should update their recommendation to include silicone utensils.

The sauté pan really does provide even heat, unlike some of the others I have to use when cooking several items at the same time. The only claim I disagree with is that the pan is not dishwasher-safe. I made the mistake once of putting it in the dishwasher; it came out pitted, despite the fact that I rinse loose solids from everything before putting anything in the dishwasher. That was an expensive mistake. The pan hasn't lost its even-heating or easy-to-clean qualities despite the dishwasher experience, so I still use it daily.

I have used calphalon unison for sometime now.and i love the cookware. I live very rural and getting to a Williams=sanoma is hard, I have used online only recently. twice the shipment box condition has been VERY POOR. Great service at the stores. Great service when you call about the shipment, but who ever the conpany has hired to box and ship the products is effecting the reputation of the company and the should be look at hard,

Your comments about the pans is what calphalon is all about...but before you trash their shipping department..look at you delivery company too. Sometime it the way the carrier shipping methods are. I don't work for WS but I work with one of the giant shipping companies in the great USA....Meme

I needed to replace a nonstick pan. These had been available a while ago and I missed them. Not this time and I am sooooo glad. The saute pan is a grat all purpose size and the sear pan I used tonight for hamburgers. They came out perfect! And the pan cleaned up easily...
