Calphalon Elite Nonstick Roaster With Rack

Developed through a unique collaboration between Calphalon and Williams Sonoma, the Elite cookware collection sets a new standard for nonstick performance. Metal utensils won't damage the release performance of the durable, triple-layer nonstick interior, and the specially textured surface excels for searing foods-two key features that set this collection apart from other nonstick cookware. Made in the USA and exclusively ours, Elite cookware is also PFOA-free and dishwasher safe. This roaster is ideal for searing then roasting meats, poultry or vegetables. Included rack elevates foods for fast, even cooking. Premium hard-anodized aluminum ensures excellent heat conduction and uniform cooking. Triple-layer nonstick surface is durable enough to withstand metal utensils. Textured Sear nonstick interior seals in flavor when browning or searing foods and is PFOA free. Polished stainless-steel handles are riveted. Ergonomically shaped handles offer a secure grip and comfortable lifting. Dishwasher safe. Includes nonstick rack that elevates foods to promote fast, even cooking.

Too big for my oven
November 25, 2016
The height of this roaster (3.25 inches) is exactly the distance between the rack supports in my oven. So I need to either hang it on top of the supports or jam it in, fitting the handles under the supports. Neither option is ideal when you also have a large turkey stuffed with aromatics and a pint to a quart of liquid in the pan. Lesson: buy it and test the fit in your oven more than a day before Thanksgiving!
Pros: Durable
Cons: Size
