Burgundy Dinnerware Collection
Our Burgundy serving collection takes its design cue from antique European pieces. Crafted in Portugal, the glazed terra-cotta is hand painted with a simple, geometric pattern and finished for a rustic old-world look and feel. Microwavable; oven, freezer and dishwasher safe. Dinner plate: 11 1/4" diam., set of four. Pasta bowl: 1 qt. cap.; 9 1/4" diam. Serving platter: 19 1/2" x 13 3/4" x 1 3/4" high. Oh dear--steer clear

After lusting over these plates since spring they finally came on sale. They are beautiful and unique. They are also not sealed on the bottom Therefore water is absorbed when washing and leeches out. After two washes they have also started to crackle due to the water... should have been pulled from the product line immediately. The bowls are sealed,

Unique Design and Colors

I've used these for a month now and I love them. They are heavy, have a unique design and color scheme, and hold up well in the dishwasher. You do have to be sure they are completely dry before putting them away because they do "sweat." Each piece has its own "differences" so if you like uniformity, this type of dishware is not for you.
Pros: colors, sturdy, unique design, rustic look, dishwasher safe
Cons: sweats
