I purchased this for my husband in December with a gift card from a friend. It has been the nicest way to keep our spices out. My husband does not like to search for anything in the cabinets. Now I am going to buy a second one.

I love the convenience and ease of use this spice rack provides for me. There were plenty of options with which to label each of the glass jars, which are also fairly large which allows me to not have to refill them very frequently. It was a great purchase, and I love having it on the counter for ease of use when cooking.

I would recommend this swivel spice rack as the best available. It is fairly priced for the quality. Attractive enough to leave out on the counter. We are ordering our second!

I have been looking for a spice rack for my small kitchen. This fits perfectly. Others I have looked at looked cheap and all plastic. Am enjoying filling all the bottles and having them so handy.

Good, but still room for improvement

We love our new spice rack! I rated this item a 4 due to a couple issues: 1) I would have liked an option to pour or shake contents out. The lids provided have VERY large holes and must be removed to scoop contents out. 2) No labels provided. (which I have heard the ones provided are pretty useless anyway). We used a label maker to label our spices, so... easy fix. I love the metal lids, glass bottles, and metal base. It turns very smoothly and looks great on the counter. I would not want to product to be any bigger than it is though, or it would not fit easily on the countertop. Overall, I would recommend this product to someone as long as they understood the drawbacks. I have yet to find a better spice rack for the price though.

Perfect for my needs

This spice rack was exactly what I was looking for. I spent a lot of time searching for an empty, stainless steel spice rack because I already had so many spices. This suited my needs perfectly. They do provide extra / blank labels. I didn't have to use them, but if I do in the future, I'll just use a label maker.

A functional spice rack

I bought this to replace a spice rack that came pre-filled with spices I do not use. I liked that I could fill it myself with fresh spices. The labels that came with the spice rack were useless as they were not ones that I use. I bought clear labels from amazon (140 labels) that represented all the spices that I use. My only complaint about the spice rack itself is the hole size: it is too big for some of the spices. I wish they were smaller or could be adjusted.

Generally great, a few nitpicky flaws

This was the only spice rack I could find that didn't have pre-filled spices, but that still came as a set (rather than buying a rack, then jars, etc). The design is ok, and actually looks quite sleek in our kitchen. It feels a tad rickety, but the jars themselves are sturdy glass with metal tops (and those removable plastic inserts with holes to shake out the spices). Unlike some, I got the pre-printed label sheet, with four blanks AND a full sheet of blanks. The jar size is smaller than the standard jar of spice you get in the store, so you inevitably wind up with a back stock in your cabinets.
Overall, the pros are it looks nice, it doesn't take up too much counter space, it's fully customizable, and it has enough jars to hold everything I use. Cons - writing my own labels (and the labels didn't really take to my permanent marker), cheap feeling metal used, made in china, and small jars. Generally recommend - cleaned up that messy spice drawer!

I liked this spice rack. I was looking for something simple and contemporary. The spinning function works really well.
However, I thought some of the pre-written labels provided had some really spices that I probably wouldn't get.

So far, I've really enjoyed my new spice rack. However, it didn't come with enough pre-labeled names for some of my most basic spices, and the blank labels are not ink-jet printer friendly. I had to use clear address labels and cut them down to size. Missing basic spices such as cumin, chili powder, ground oregano, etc. and then does include some very obscure spices, like Pizza Spice (what?) and Savory (which I've never used, let alone even purchased.
Overall, I am satisfied, but think they could do a much better job with the labels, or at least provide ones you can easily customize with your home printer.

Great Spice Rack

I just love this spice rack. It fit perfectly on my counter and helped get rid of the cluttered mess in my spice cupboard. I did not like how the labels looked on the lids. The labels however, also fit on the bottom of the spice jars. I organized my spices alphabetically and labeled each one on the bottom. I can use obvious looking spices, like bay leaves or red chili pepper, as a marker to help me find the spice I need. I do wish the jars were a tad larger, but I will compromise on this as I wouldn't want the spice rack to take up any more room.

The perfect spice rack

Totally cleaned up the counter space. Perfect gift more my wife who was looking for a durable, long-lasting kitchen accessory. Love the glass bottles and the overall look of the rack in the kitchen. Plus, it came with NO spices - not forced to by old junk stuff.

Making extra labels

I bought this spice rack over a year ago primarily because it was the only spice rack that I could find that (1) I liked the look of and (2) didn't come pre-filled with spices. (I wanted to use my own.) Like other reviewers I ran into the problem that many of my spices weren't covered by the pre-printed spice labels that come with the rack. Fortunately, I was able to figure out the font used in the pre-printed labels - I believe it is Trebuchet MS. I can't remember the size right now - but I think it is 16 or 18 pt font. With this info, you ought to be able to print your own matching labels to the ones that come pre-printed.
As others have mentioned, the jars are usually too small to fit all of the spice that you get in a jar bought from the grocery store - a flaw common to many spice racks unfortunately.

Most Problems Are Easy to Solve

When i received this product i was very pleased. However there were two problems: labels and slotted cap. These problems are easily fixable.
1) make your own labels with a label maker.
2)remove the slotted caps altogether and just use a teaspoon for sprinkling. easy :)
