Makes great pickles!

I love pickles and was also interesting in learning the steps to proper canning, so I thought this would be a great start. The instructions were very easy to understand and everything worked perfectly.
I picked up some fresh Kirby (pickling) cucumbers at my local farmers market and pickled them the same afternoon. The spice mix included with the pickling kit makes the pickles super crunchy and fresh with just the right amount of spice.
I wish that the Brooklyn Brine company would sell refills of the pickling mix!
I have caught the "canning bug" after making these pickles and have made rhubarb and blueberry jam using the book, "Put Em Up!" also available from WS.
